The Kensington Veterinary Hospital is a community clinic and has been providing care for over 23 years. Dr. Beth Phimister and her staff understand that pets are important members of the family and they work to create healthy and happy pets while maximizing quality of life through providing excellent care and compassion.
Dr. Phimister's care specializes in small animal medicine with a focus on internal medicine, dentistry, dermatology, ophthalmology and surgery.
The PETS Referral Center is open 24 hours a day to take care of pet emergencies. They have several veterinarians at the clinic who specialize in trauma services, as well as surgery, oncology, and internal medicine. They do not require an appointment, but prefer you to call in advance if possible. They also allow hospital tours and let clients visit their pets to assist with their well being and recovery. Furthermore, their doctors and specialists regularly take part in national education events to improve their medical knowledge.
VCA is a chain with more than 480 neighborhood animal hospitals nationwide. The Albany location is staffed by seven veterinarians and more than a dozen veterinary technicians and support staff. It treats dogs, cats and "pocket pets," and offers a wide range of services. It has an in-house surgical suite, pharmacy and hospital. There is a small private parking lot for three cars; otherwise, street parking is available.

Since 1969, the Campus Veterinary Clinic has helped animals receive the best veterinary care. It is a full-service clinic serving dogs, cats, some exotics, rodents, birds a and some reptiles with a complete surgical facility. Some of the clinic's services includes dental care, flea and tick protection, radiology and standard veterinary care. Though it is not an emergency veterinary center, it does take emergencies during business hours.
