Mount Kato is the place to go for skiing, snowboarding, snow tubing and mountain biking. It is located one mile south of Mankato in the scenic Minnesota River Valley. The facility has more than 18 trails, including both beginner and intermediate trails. It also has 8 chair lifts. The bike trails at Mount Kato are available from May through October and span more than seven miles. It also offers skiing and snowboarding lessons for beginners. Skis and other equipment are also available for rental. The facility is located in Mankato, Minn. Its skiing facilities are open until mid-March.
