Van Andel Arena is the home of the International Hockey League s Grand Rapids Griffins. With more than 12,000-sitting capacity, the arena hosts family shows, concerts tradeshows, exhibitions, seminars and sporting events. Founded in 1996, it has hosted shows for Neil Diamond, Eric Clapton, Barenaked Ladies, Blue Man Group, Michael Bubl , Trans-Siberian Orchestra, The Who, The Eagles, Bob Seger and Red Hot Chili Peppers, to name a few.
