Located in Fort Wayne, Ind., the Youth Services Center is a part of the Allen County government. It is a 24-hour emergency shelter care facility for runaway, abused, neglected and dependent children between the ages of 6 and 18. The center provides basic health care services through its staff of in-house nurses. The Youth Services Center also offers Positive Point program. It also offers behavior modification and daily activities that include sports, crafts and assistance with daily chores. The center operates Yoder House Group Home that is an independent living program for up to 10 teenagers between the ages of 15 and 21. The Youth Services Center also features Kryder House Group Home for women between the ages of 15 and 21.
