After four decades of searching the world, Arte de Mexico has evolved into an unparalleled global resource for residential designers, celebrities and the hospitality industry. Arte is a true rags to riches success story of owner Jerry Stoffers. After serving in Vietnam, Jerry went to Mexico and fell in love with the people and their heritage of fine craftsmanship. Utilizing their skills, he started the company selling out of a truck in Hollywood and has made the company into the global design source it is today. This led to the birth of Arte International Furnishings. While scouring the world for artisans to create its products, thousands of unique and antique furnishings have been acquired, and hundreds of rare and exceptional architectural elements salvaged. This inventory constantly changes and grows, as shipments from more than 20 different countries arrive on a daily basis. The company is headquartered in Burbank, Calif.
