Oklahoma Conference of Seventh-day Adventists is made up of more than 6,000 members who worship in over 70 churches throughout Oklahoma. The conference offers a wide variety of programs and services through its churches and schools in the state of Oklahoma. It operates various churches, including the Altus, Lawton, Sand Springs, Shawnee, Elk City, Nowata, Chandler, Canton, Muskogee, Cleveland, and Oklahoma City Central churches. The conference also operates educational institutions, including the Tulsa Adventist Junior Academy, Bristow Adventist Academy, Ketchum Junior Academy, and the Ardmore Adventist Academy. The conference organizes youth camps and activities, trust services, camp meetings and mission trips. It also operates retirement villages and bookstores. The conference publishes a newsletter, called the Sooner Son Times that includes information about various programs and events organized by the conference and a schedule of upcoming events.
