With production capabilities of more than 600 different torque converters, Precision of New Hampton produces in excess of 1,500 converters per day for each of its four lines domestic, foreign, high performance and industrial. Each torque converter is balanced internally and externally with computer controlled equipment and electronic testing for leaks, end play and run outs. Precision of New Hampton overhauls virtually any make and model of industrial torque converters and fluid couplers from simple minor repairs to rebuilding or replacing all bearings, washers and wearable surfaces. For the high performance market, Precision of New Hampton offers furnace brazing, anti-ballooning flanged hubs, hardened turbine splines and high performance stators.
