Pine Hills Youth Correctional Facility is a 120-plus-bed center for juvenile males between the ages of 10 and 17. The center provides a variety of residential sex offender and chemical dependency programs. Its central administration division offers fiscal, personnel, accounting and contracting services. Pine Hills Youth Correctional Facility also provides facility planning and internal investigation and safety and sanitation solutions. The center specializes in medical, psychological, psychiatric and residential placement services. It offers recreation, chemical dependency, case management and work restitution solutions. Pine Hills Youth Correctional Facility additionally operates an on-site school for resident students. The center is accredited by the American Correctional Association (ACA). It is governed by the Youth Services Division of the Department of Corrections of the state of Montana.
