I’ve lived in 13 states and 3 countries as the daughter of a US Marine and was a teacher for 22 years. I learned that the men, women and families of the US Armed Forces represent a broad spectrum of race, culture and creed. I feel so fortunate to relate to people from so many different backgrounds. With my students I strived to build character and the capacity to communicate well, think wisely and feel deeply in order to participate in and contribute to the greater good of humanity.
