Operational since 1977, Orange Water and Sewer Authority is the public, nonprofit water and sewer agency that serves the Carrboro-Chapel Hill community in North Carolina. It provides quality drinking water for the customers through the operations and maintenance of the water supply, treatment and distribution system. Additionally, the authority is responsible for protecting the environment through the operation and maintenance of the wastewater collection, treatment and recycling systems.
