Founded in 1959, Ocean County Vocational Technical School offers various learning opportunities to students. The school provides courses in cosmetology, automotive technology and practical nursing. It also offers courses in computer repair, aviation and aerospace technology, graphic design, performing and culinary arts. Ocean County Vocational Technical School participates in the Federal Pell Grant and Federal Student Loan programs. The school develops partnerships with affiliated schools, businesses, industries and community agencies to create and deliver opportunities for students to participate in various occupational programs. In addition, it provides job shadowing, internships, cooperative industrial education and vocational exploration options.
