Established in 1896, Oakwood Adventist Academy offers coeducational programs to students in kindergarten to grade 12. The school provides academic education on subjects, such as fine arts and physical education. Located in Huntsville, Ala., its curriculum includes bible, social studies, language arts, science and general mathematics. The school also offers college preparatory curriculum for its students. Oakwood Adventist Academy music groups perform in the local churches and participate in regional music association workshops and union-wide music festivals. The school has accreditation with the Association of Seventh-Day Adventist Schools, Colleges and Universities Inc and the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.
