Established in 1973, Mayfield Lumber is a supplier of Appalachian hardwood to contractors, resellers and lumber yards. Based in McMinnville, Tenn., the firms products include hardwood of various types, such as aromatic red cedar, ash, hard maple, hickory, poplar, walnut, white and red oak. These products are available in various lengths, widths, color consistency and fiber properties. Covering a 78-acre area, Mayfield Lumber s largest warehouse measures 51,600 square feet. The hardwood produced by the firm is used for designing furniture, closets, flooring, doors, hockey sticks, tool handles, musical instruments, carvings and whiskey barrels, to name a few.
