The Parks and Recreation Department provides parks, facilities and programs that promote leisure activities in Massillon, Ohio. Its outreach meals program serves breakfast and lunches at various sites throughout the city during the summer months. It also offers youth scholarship program to students who qualify for the free and reduced lunch program. It publishes program brochures each year that outline events, programs and other useful information. Its aquatics area features lane lap pool, a splash down pool and a kiddy play pool. Its fitness center features treadmills, bikes, steppers, cross trainers, as well as resistance equipment and a free weight area. Its game room is equipped with pool and pingpong tables, as well as video games and lounge sofas.
