Macland Baptist Church is a fixturein the Powder Springs community. Dr. Richard Walker is the pastor. The church has many ministries, including children's, teens', choirs, and community outreach. AWANA (Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed), which focuses on Scripture knowledge amd memorization, is one of the most successful programs in the church.This program is age-graded for children from preschool to high school.
