Los Angeles Community College District, located in Los Angeles, offers a range of educational and extracurricular programs to students. The district comprises nine colleges that offer subjects to students in more than 35 cities and communities covering an area of over 880 square miles. The colleges offer a number of subjects of study, such as humanities, biology, economics, English, anthropology, humanities, accounting, international studies and history. In addition, they offer a number of other courses, including mathematics, computer science, music, biology, physics, political science and psychology. Federal and state programs are available for eligible students to help with educational expenses.
