About Mitch Phelps Prior to joining Liberty National, Mitch Phelps was in the construction business. He wasn’t crazy about it. “I didn’t feel I could grow there,” Mitch said. “Truthfully, I felt that lack of growth at most every job I’d been a part of.” So he sought out something different: a job – no, a career he could see himself sticking with, growing with, and that ultimately would change his life. Mitch found what he was looking for in Liberty National Life Insurance Company. “I didn’t know much about insurance sales or the Company at the time,” he said. “I just had the confidence that if I put the same effort into this career that I did my previous one, I’d be able to change my life and my family’s life.” Mitch’s confidence and open-mindedness came through in spades.
