The Town of Lexington Administrative Department operates under a council/administrator form of government. As such, the administrator, appointed by the Town Council, is the chief executive of the town government and all its departments and offices, and is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day affairs of the town. The current town administrator is Britt Poole.
