Formed in 1950, the La Jolla Town Council is an organization that provides a forum for discussion, debate, and action on local issues and concerns. It then advises different levels of government on such issues. The Town Council hosts regularly scheduled meetings on the second Thursday of the month at 5pm at the La Jolla Rec Center. It also hosts a variety of other activities including SunSetters, an opportunity for business owners and other community leaders to meet in a social setting.
