Established in 1980, Long Island Center for Independent Living Inc. serves the people and families of Nassau County with disabilities. Based in Levittown, N.Y., it provides a number of services, such as limited transportation, benefits advisement, advocacy, general guidance, information and referrals, counseling and independent living skills, to name a few. In addition, the firm offers equipment loan, Hispanic outreach services and consumer directed personal assistance program.
