Illinois Swimming, Inc. is the Illinois branch office of USA Swimming. USA Swimming is the national governing body for swimming in the United States. It has over 300,000 members and works to promote the sportby creating opportunities for coaches and swimmers through education, clubs and events. Illinois Swimming is a local swimming committee that maintains a permanent office in Des Plaines to handle sanctioned meets, registrations, applications and Board of Directors meetings.
