Since 1883, Houghton Academy is a college-prep boarding and day school enrolling students in grades 6 to 12. Based in Houghton, N.Y., the school offers Christian philosophy of education. It provides dorm services for both girls and boys, dining hall, health care facility and sports. Houghton Academy is fully-accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools (MSCSA) as well as The Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI). The Academy is also a member of various associations, including The National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS) and Secondary School Admission Test Board (SSAT).
