Homer Middle School is a coeducational institution that serves students in grades seven and eight. The school organizes several athletic activities, such as basketball, track and field, cross-country, football, wrestling and volleyball. Homer Middle School has a guidance counseling department that provides individual and group counseling services to students who need assistance related to academic, social and relational concerns. The school conducts academic classes in math, science, social studies, English, art, language arts, music, and health and physical education. In addition, it provides food services to students. Homer Middle School is a part of the Kenai Peninsula Borough School District and is located in Homer, Ark.
