Highland Cleaners, located in Louisville, Ky., is a full-service dry cleaning company that provides alterations and cleaning for leather and suede products, wedding gowns, linens, drapes and household accessories. The company uses a natural petroleum solvent for cleaning and uses wet cleaning technology as recommended by Greenpeace. The company operates more wet cleaning washers and dryers than any other cleaner in Kentucky. It has 12 locations throughout the Greater Louisville area. Highland Cleaners first opened for business on Bardstown Road in Louisville in 1944.
