CareerPoint is a private nonprofit employment agency founded in 1996 by the Greater Holyoke Chamber of Commerce, Massachusetts Division of Career Services, Holyoke Community College, University of Massachusetts Donahue Institute and Department of Transitional Assistance. The firm has been in business for more than five years, and offers a variety of resources, workshops and counseling for customers living with disabilities. CareerPoints training department offers a variety of full-day and half-day workshops on topics, including stress management for the workplace, interviewing techniques for managers, intercultural communication, communication skills for managers, conflict management in the workplace, communication and teambuilding, presentation skills and mentoring in the workplace.
