In 1950, with a dream and a truck with NO motor, the late Clell James Hall started Hall-Lane Moving & Storage. He would tow the truck with his car to his customers homes. After they had the truck loaded, Clell would pretend he was having engine trouble and would tell his customers to go ahead and he would meet them at their new home. Clell did this for 2 months until he was able to save enough money to buy a motor. Clell was determined to make his business a success and provide great service no matter what obstacles lie in his path. That determination lives on at Hall Lane Moving and Storage 67 years later. Today the company is owned and run by Clells two sons John & Alan Hall and was recently voted Best Moving Company on Long Island by our past customers.
