The Greater Peoria Family YMCA is a nonprofit community service organization located in Peoria, Ill. The organization provides private and group swimming lessons for people of all age groups. It s the Teen R.E.A.C.H program includes recreational activities, life skills, employment training, and academic and physical fitness programs. The Greater Peoria Family YMCA s the Minority Achievers program provides employment and drug and alcohol prevention education. The organization offers various adventure activities, such as horse back riding, snow tubing and go-carting for children in kindergarten through grade eight. It provides before- and after-school child care to children in kindergarten through sixth grade.
