Eiman Firoozmand, M.D. FASCRS is an attending surgeon in the Division of Colorectal Surgery at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and a fellow of the American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons. He was the Clinical Chief of the Division of Colon and Rectal Surgery from 2007 to 2009 at Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. Dr. Firoozmand is also a member of the voluntary faculty at the Keck School of Medicine at the University of Southern California (USC). Dr. Firoozmands main clinical and research interests involve optimizing outcomes and techniques in the treatment of colon and rectal cancer, inflammatory bowel disease, and benign anorectal disease. These interests include the use of laparoscopic surgery and new techniques for hemorrhoidal surgery, such as the procedure for prolapse and hemorrhoids (PPH). Dr. Firoozmand is board certified in colorectal and general surgery. Dr. Firoozmand has written numerous articles for peer-reviewed publications including The American Surgeon, The Journal of Trauma, Surgical Laparoscopy & Endoscopy, Circulation Research and Circulatory Shock.
