The DePaul University Community Music Division is a community school offering music programs for students of all ages. The program is a part of the DePaul University’s School of Music; it serves over 700 students in the Chicagoland area. Programs include traditional and jazz instruction, Suzuki, ensemble work, theory, musicianship, musical theatre workshops, masterclasses, individual instruction and community engagement, among others. Itworks jointly with a number of Chicago school programs, the Chicago Children's Choir and the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services' Project SOAR.It is helmed by DirectorSusanne Baker.
