We believe strongly that HR practices should be firmly grounded in psychological science. DeGarmo Group employs a team of consultants with Ph.D. and Masters degrees in Industrial and Organizational psychology who contribute to, and draw upon, the latest scientific research to deliver innovative and compelling solutions for our clients. DeGarmo Group was formed in 1996 to synergize the strengths of its staff consultants to advance the science and practice of I/O psychology. John Binning is Chief Research Officer and received his M.A. and Ph.D. degrees in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from the University of Akron, and a B.A. in psychology from Butler University. John currently resides in Bloomington, IL with his wife Elizabeth while his daughter Lauren is studying graphic design at his undergraduate alma mater. John is an avid runner and enjoys collecting oriental rugs and vintage guitars. Anthony Adorno is Chief Operations Officer and received his B.S. degree in Psychology, and M.S. degree in Industrial/Organizational psychology from Illinois State University. Anthony lives in Lakeland, FL with his wife Angela and their children Isabel and Joey. Anthony spends his free time working on his mediocre golf game and cheering for Chicago area sports teams. Chris Bellizzi is Chief Information Officer and received his B.S. in Social Science from Illinois State University. Chris, his wife Caroline and their children Amelia and Dean live in St. Charles, IL. In his spare time, Chris enjoys spending time with his family, reading and playing competitive sports.
