David Tabby was born in Philadelphia. He graduated from Princeton University in 1980 with a degree in Population Biology. He earned his medical degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1984. He completed his Neurology residency at Jefferson in 1988 with Robert Schwartzman, MD.
