Northwest Montana Human Resources, founded in 1976, is a nonprofit organization that undertakes community-based programs throughout Flathead, Lake, Lincoln and Sanders counties in Montana. It has an employment and training department that offers employment assistance and welfare programs for low-income families and unemployed youths. The services offered by the department include job placement assistance, career counseling, objective assessment, occupational skills training and internship opportunities. The organization also provides emergency shelter programs to homeless individuals and rehabilitation services to senior citizens.
