Color Me Mine offers customers the unique opportunity to purchase and personally decorate their own ceramic ware. More than 300 pieces are available to choose from, including practical items like dishes and mugs, and purely decorative figurines like animals and fairies. Customers can sketch their own design, or use the store's design computer to get ideas. Stamps and stencils are available, as well. Then customers apply the underglaze colors and paint their pottery. The items are baked in kilns on the premises. Finally, the piece is ready to take home. All ages are welcome to participate, with different sitting fees for adults and children, in addition to the price of individual pieces. The location hosts monthly events, workshops for kids and private parties. Materials and ceramics can also be supplied "to go" for home decorating parties. Local organizations can also partner with Color Me Mine for fundraising.
