College Hill Coffee first opened its doors in October 2001 at 420 College Street. CHC offered a friendly atmosphere and a quiet place for students, community members, and neighbors to relax. It quickly began to grow and by customer request, CHC began serving lunch in addition to coffee products and baked goods. Owner Blenda Hoskinson soon realized an expansion was needed. Renovation of the Arts & Crafts Bungalow at 403 Soward began Spring of 2002 leaving much of the homelike atmosphere intact. As of October 4, 2003 CHC had a new home.
