Easton Sports is a privately owned developer, manufacturer, marketer, and distributor of sports equipment for individuals of all ages and abilities. The company began in 1922 when Doug Easton started to make custom wood bows and arrows. Other products made by the company include aluminum bats, carbon tennis rackets and synthetic hockey sticks. Headquartered in Van Nuys, Calif., Easton Sports employs more than 1,500 worldwide and maintains facilities in Utah, California, Mexico and Canada.
