B&E is a local Christian-based business. Dave, a native of Norfolk, grew up three miles from the shop and has worked in various capacities in the industry throughout Hampton Roads before acquiring B&E in 1990. With 46 years experience he has worked with lacquer, acrylic enamel, straight enamel (Dulux), 2K epoxy, two stage, tri-stage water based and urethane clears. Body experience includes lead wiping, use of plastic body filler, full frame and unibody repair using Chief EZ Liner frame equipment. Most recent technology includes nitrogen plastic repair, and sheet metal fabrication using English wheels and shrinker/stretchers as well as electric bead rollers. Dave is ICAR, ASA and Air Condition certified. Served on the advisory board for Norfolk Skill Center, Virginia Beach Vocational Center, and is currently working with Tidewater Community College Advisory Council for collision repair. He served three years as President of the Hampton Roads Autobody Association.
