Atlanta Women s Medical Center, established in 1975, provides pregnancy services to women including counseling, laboratory tests, medical screening, surgical procedure, sonogram, recovery room care and a follow-up visit. The average length of stay at the center is four hours. The pregnancy terminations are performed by certified gynecologists after the beginning of last regular period. The surgical method used is vacuum aspiration. The center also offers nonsurgical termination services to patients who are less then 8 weeks pregnant.
