H&L Performance is a shop for thededicatedbike enthusiast. The shop builds custom motorcycle engines, as well as service and performance work on all Harley Davidson bikes from 1936 totoday. Owners Tom Haner and Tom "Joe Biker" Malloyare so serious about their craft that they invented two of their own engines, calledThe Gladiator and The Animal. Their work has made them well-known not only in Connecticut, but across the country. Their bikes have even appeared on the television show "American Chopper."
