Anne Arundel Medical Center (AAMC) is a private non-profit hospital that serves Annapolis and surrounding areas. The 60-acre main campus, the Carl A. Brunetto Medical Park, sits along Jennifer Road near the Westfield Annapolis Mall. AAMC was founded in 1902 as Annapolis Emergency Hospital. In 2001, the hospital moved from downtown Annapolis to its current location when the Acute Care Pavilion opened. An expansion of the main hospital is currently under construction and expected to be completed in 2011. In addition to the Acute Care Pavilion, AAMC features the following at this location: Edwards Surgical Pavilion (outpatient procedures), Donner Pavilion (DeCesaris Cancer Institute), Clatanoff Pavilion (women's and children's care), Wayson Medical Office Pavilion and the Sajak Pavilion (Breast Center, Anne Arundel Diagnostics and physicians' offices).
