AMS Automotive works with other companies and large and small rebuilders, not individuals. It began operations by supplying clutch rebuilders in North America, Latin America and the Caribbean with hard-to-rebuild new pressure plate assemblies and disc assemblies. A few years later, AMS expanded to include release bearings, pilot bearings/bushings, flywheels, friction material, agricultural clutches, and class 6-8 heavy-duty clutches. In 1996, AMS introduced its own line of clutch kits. In 2008,it started to market and distributea lineup of class 6-8 LIPE commercial clutch products. AMS also offeres cataloging and technical support.
