Ambit Pacific Recycling, located in Gardena, Calif., is a full-service recycling center founded by Roy Abel in 1984. The center offers a variety of recycling programs to assist businesses in collecting recyclable materials for disposal. It also provides a document destruction service that collects and securely destroys confidential office documents and provides certification upon completion. Ambit Pacific recycles aluminum cans, glass bottles, plastic bottles, cardboard and all grades of paper, and ferrous and nonferrous metals. It processes more than 80,000-tons of material per year, and has expertise in shipping, handling, storage and development of recyclables. The company has also assembled an electronics dismantling division to remove the integrated circuit boards from computers and electronic equipment for resale.
