Established in 2001, Yeshiva Bonim Lamokom offers a range of special services to children with disabilities. It has been operational fore more than five years and serves children with Down syndrome and provides Jewish and secular education. The organization s curriculum includes math, spelling, writing and other subjects. It focuses on the attainment of functional skills that include daily living activities, job training and socialization. The organization also conducts a vocational program and assists with job placement. It is located in Brooklyn, N.Y. and maintains a computer laboratory that includes four computers equipped with the Waterford Early reading, math and science programs.
