About Total Seminars Total Seminars, LLC has been writing books, developing training materials, and teaching computer courses since 1995. We have authored best-selling books on A+, Network+, and other computer industry certifications, and trained thousands of corporate and government PC and network technicians. Dudley Lehmer and Michael Meyers began Total Seminars in 1995 as a seminar company, presenting computer training seminars to government and corporate employees throughout the United States. In more recent years Total Seminars has become a major producer of PC certification books and other training materials. In his early career as a systems support specialist, our President, Mike Meyers, was frustrated by training courses that failed to provide any solid, practical computer knowledge. As a result, he began his own company to develop hands-on classes designed to teach students the real nuts and bolts of fixing and maintaining PCs and networks. Dudley, the CEO of Total Seminars, holds a Harvard MBA and manages all of our business matters. Total Seminars Today Total Seminars has written 17 books published by McGraw-Hill, including the best-selling All-in-One A+ Certification Exam Guide, by Michael Meyers. Now in its sixth edition, this publication has been the best selling A+ Certification book on the market since its initial printing in July 1998. It is also the best selling A+ certification exam guide on Amazon.com and on the Barnes and Noble web site. Our Network+ All-in-One Certification Exam Guide, now in its fourth edition, is also one of the industrys top selling certification books. In addition to trade publications, Total Seminars writes textbooks, such as Mike Meyers A+ Guide to Managing and Troubleshooting PCs 2nd Edition and the Introduction to PC Hardware and Troubleshooting ( part of the full-color Mike Meyers Computer Skills series ). These books, along with our lab manuals, practice exam software, and instructor guides, are used by thousands of schools nationwide to train students for A+ and Network+ certification and general computer hardware, operating system, and networking skills. We have been a federal government training contractor for A+ and Network+ certifications since 1997, and have have provided A+ certification training to the FBI since 1998. In 2002 Total Seminars was awarded a five-year A+ and Network+ certification training contract by the Eastern Region of the FAA. Many of the same people who help write and edit our books provide on-site A+ and Network+ certification training to corporations and government agencies. In addition, we contract with community colleges and private training institutions to provide A+ and Network+ certification training to their students.
