Founded in 1934 by 3 time National Champion Ski Jumper, Strand Mikkelsen ; Strand was also the founder of the Eastern Professional Ski Jumpers Association and a U.S. Skiing Hall of Fame member. A true pioneer in the sport of skiing. Strand s is now owned and operated by his twin son s, Leif and Roy. Leif concentrates on custom boot fitting, while Roy spends much of his time tuning and maintaining skis.
