Established in 1975, Roanoke Natural Foods Co-op is a cooperatively owned natural foods grocery store located in Roanoke, Va. The store includes various departments, such as grocery, fresh produce, bulk foods, dairy products, beer and wine, and gift and books. The store also has a houseware department that offers a variety of products, such as salad spinners, water dispensers, dishes, teapots and chopsticks. It additionally provides a variety of products for various occasions, including office parties, business meetings, picnics, family events and holiday gatherings. It supports various community welfare programs and organizations, such as Blue Ridge Public Television s Open Mic, Fall Waterways Cleanup and Celebration and SPCA Annual Dog Walk.
