Opened in 1911, Our Lady of Loretto Grammar School is a Catholic elementary school in Echo Park. Originally, the school was housed in a building close to its current location on Union Avenue. In 1921, a six-classroom building was erected at the school's present location. In 1928 the first expansion was completed. Over the years, the school has gone through many administrations and transformations. Currently it serves children in kindergarten through eighth grade. Fidela B. Suelto is the principal.
