Founded in 1995, Global Star Software develops and publishes console and handheld entertainment software, including racing, sports and action games. Its franchises include the Outlaw sports series; the Tycoon franchise, including School Tycoon, Airport Tycoon 3 and Mall Tycoon 2; the Jetfighter series; Motocross Mania; and Army Men. It is a wholly owned subsidiary of Take-Two Interactive Software. It manages the jewel box and value compilation business for all Take-Two PC products. Global Star Software is headquartered in Manhattan, N.Y., and has another office in New York City. It provides a complete online support for patches, game manuals and other documentation.
