The South Gate Montessori Children's Academy is located within a well-sized structure near downtown South Gate. The facility works with kids ranging in age from two years old through 8th grade. Utilizing the teachings of Maria Montessori, the school offers self-directed teaching activities and learning methods, where in place of grade levels, children are encouraged to develop at their own pace. The school offers traditional holiday breaks and features a large playground. While class begins at 8:30am, children are welcome to arrive as early as 6:30am.
