Opened in 1961, Millis Road Elementary School provides instructive programs to more than 500 students in prekindergarten through grade five. Its academic course includes various subjects, such as language arts, math, statistics, art, environment, science and history. The school operates a library that offers a collection of books on various topics and provides a range of databases, encyclopedias, magazines, newspapers, online resources and reference materials to students. Millis Road Elementary School, a North Carolina Honor School of Excellence, provides food and transportation services to the students. The elementary school is located in Jamestown, N.C., and is a part of Guilford County Schools.
