Welcome to Harlem Yacht Club Harlem Yacht Club is located on City Island, a nautical community within the boundaries of New York City which is renowned for its maritime history. Many Americas Cup yachts were built on this tiny island. Situated on the western end of Long Island Sound, in the most protected part of Eastchester Bay, the HYC offers access to the best cruising in the region with hundreds of harbors and anchorages located on nearby shores. Founded in the nineteenth century, the HYC is one of the countrys oldest yacht clubs. With a full complement of activities for both boating and social members, the HYC has something to offer everyone.
